Amy Coney Barret’s accession to the Supreme Court is a triumph for President Trump just before election day, November 3. He is fulfilling his 2016 election promise for his conservative voters. Barret is Trump’s third nomination for a supreme judge. This has significantly shifted the balance in the US highest judicial body to the right side. It is a legacy that conservative America will reap the benefits of for decades to come. It is clear that President Trump needs some tailwind.

In the presidential campaign a great majority of the media applies double standards. Never ask a tough question to Joe Biden and take down Donald Trump. The New York Times wrote that press objectivity is a luxury America can not afford! That is the reason why the media are so reluctant for instance about the emails on the laptop of Hunter Biden, Joe’s son. That laptop is threat to Joe Biden’s reputation. Hunter’s emails show that he ‘sold’ access to his father to Chinese and Ukrainians businessmen, and that Joe was willing to do so. It was not a philanthropic business; they paid to have access to the vice-president of the US. One of Hunter Biden’s former business partners, Anthony Bobulinski, accused the former vice-president of lying when he said he never discussed his son’s overseas business dealings.

Had the laptop belonged to a son of Trump, the mainstream media would have loudly published, commented, discussed and condemned every detail without any hesitation. But it is about Biden’s son and now the media are reluctant. Facebook and Twitter decided to suppress reports about Hunter’s laptop. With a still possible victory from Trump as the ultimate scare , the multi-billionaires owners of the new media have decided to filter their platforms. Freedom of speech is not self-evident in the new digital media.

A coalition of the ‘old’ and new media have formed a line of defense around Joe Biden. He showed a visible mental weakness last week when he could not remember the name of his opponent. ‘Georges, Georges…’ he said when he was, during a tv speech, attacking Donald Trump. Not a critical word about it in the mainstream media, nor a serious word about Hunter’s laptop…
