The new Exhibition Center underscores the fact that Huawei is a fast-growing and innovative company in the Enterprise market. A distinguished group of government officials, European IT Leaders, and key customers were invited and witnessed this historic event for Huawei. The official opening was completed by the Dutch Vice- Minister of Finance, Mr. Frans Weekers.
The opening of the Exhibition Center in Amstelveen highlights Huawei’s commitment to Europe, where it has over 7,500 employees, including 800 in R&D. Moreover, the company plans to hire 5,500 employees in Europe during the next 5 years. Huawei’s investment in Europe is boosting local economies and opening opportunities to a wide variety of industry players. “Western Europe remains the key target market for Huawei Enterprise. Our global success as a company will be measured against our achievements here.” said Leon He, President of Huawei Enterprise in Western Europe.
